#Basic Skiing Course
It covers Basic techniques of skiing. The subjects being covered are:
1. Acclimatization 2. Introduction to SKi Equipment 3. Sliding, Gliding, Balancing 4. Snow Plough, Snow Plough Turn 5. Stem Turn, Stem Swing 6. Slalom
#Intermediate Skiing Course
One is eligible for an ISC only if he/she had got an ‘A’ Grade in Basic Skiing Course from any of the recognized mountaineering institutes.It covers intermediate techniques of Skiing. The subjects covered are:
1. Acclimatization 2. Revision of Basic Techniques 3. Traverse Kick Turn 4. Traverse Stem Turn 5. Stem Swing, Dynamic Stem Swing 6. Skating & Side Slipping 7. Parallel Turn 8. Slalom
#Advance Skiing Course
The syllabus is to be coordinated with training syllabus parallel to Basic and Inteermediate Skiing courses so that ASC trainees have practice of talking theoretical as well as practical classes of following subjects by use of training aids like slide show, black board, audio visuals, assessment techniques, assimilation / confirmation and motivation through different teaching methods.
1. Acclimatization 2. Revision of Basic Techniques 3. Traverse Stem Turn & Stem Swing 4. Dynamic Stem Swing 5. Parallel Turn With Pole Plant 6. Long Brook 7. Off Piste & Brook Turn 8. One Leg Skiing, Magul Skiing 9. Slalom
